Queries for nonfiction manuscripts should include:

1.  Your Full Name

2.  Genre of work

3.  Description of work

4.  Your qualifications (personal experience and background)

5.  Length (in either double-spaced pages, or number of words)

6.  A list of proposed sub-topics/chapter headings

7.  A brief paragraph describing your perceived market for this work

 Craft of Writing
If you have written a craft of writing manuscript, we are particularly interested in works aimed at helping people learn to be better writers, with particular emphasis on beginning writers.

Resources for Writers
Topics of interest could include specific information that might be helpful to writers. (i.e., research material about various occupations, hobbies, interesting locales, wildlife, pets, and any number of other subjects).

Self Help
A non-exclusive list of topics might include behavior modification, healthcare, parenting, elder care, emotional healing, recovery from addiction, budgeting and economics, or any subject that would provide a new slant on life. Please Query.

Creative Nonfiction

What we're looking for in Create Nonfiction: 

--Strong reportage

--Well-written prose, rich with detail and a distinctive voice.

--An informational quality or instructive element that offers the reader something to learn (an idea, concept or collection of facts, strengthened with insight, reflection and interpretation.)

--A compelling, focused, sustained narrative that is well-structured, makes sense and conveys meaning.
